Veda L. Semones (Kepner), age 70, died August 11, 2016 at Brandywine Hall in West Chester. Veda was a lifelong resident of Boothwyn and graduated from Chichester High School.  Veda earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Davis & Elkins College.

She was employed by Crozer-Keystone and Taylor Hospital as a Telephone Operator. She also worked for Delaware County Library Systems and was a local Judge of Elections for many years.

Most importantly, she was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with and caring for her family. Veda enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and was very proud of her Monacan Indian heritage.

She was the daughter of the late Hoy and Orean (Dyer) Semones. Sister of the late Vivian Orean Amis.

SURVIVORS: Her beloved children Kyle Kepner (Rebecca), Cole Kepner (Kim), and Amanda Kepner-Brown (Simon). Grandchildren Calli, Alexander, Orean, and Vivian.
