December 18, 1942 – November 23, 2017
Vivian Marie Linowski (NEE Marinari), age 74, died peacefully surrounded by her family on November 23, 2017. Vivian was raised and educated in Ridley Park. She attended Our Lady of Peace Parochial School and graduated in 1960 from Notre Dame Girls School, Moylan. Vivian has lived in Brookhaven for the past 53 years. She was employed by the Clover Store for 19 years as a benefit manager and Elwyn Inc. for 7 years retiring in 2008 from the payroll department. Vivian was a member of the Federated Women's Club of America, President of the Linwood Jr. Century Club, Vice President of the Brookhaven Women's Club, and founder of the Lady Auxiliary of the Rosary Council at Our Lady of Charity Church where she was a longtime member and a Eucharistic minister. Vivian was also passionate about her time volunteering at the Riddle Hospital Thrift Shop.
She was the daughter of the late Dominic and Dorothy Marinari.
SURVIVORS: Her husband of 54 years Benjamin Linowski Jr., loving children: Natalie Haasis (George), Gregory J. and Jeffrey (Tricia) Linowski, her brother: John Marinari (Arlene), and grandchildren: Steven and Lindsay.
VISITATION: Wednesday November 29th from 9:30-10:45am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA. 19015 FUNERAL MASS: Wednesday11:00 am at the church. BURIAL: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Charity Church or Taylor Hospice Residence, 300 Johnson Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.
