W. Scott Kast, age 62, of Aston, died peacefully on July 20, 2016. Scott was raised in Pittsburgh and was a graduate of Widener University. He had worked for Widener University, Fisher Tank, GATX, and Sunoco. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Scott enjoyed boating with his family at Lake Wallenpaupack.

He was the son of the late William F. and Norma Lorraine (Flowers) Kast.

SURVIVORS: his loving wife: Nancy (Houpt) Kast; children: William F. (Melissa) and Christopher H. Kast; brother: Craig H. Kast; sister: Kim Sullivan (Daniel); granddaughters: Hayley and Carlie Kast.
