Obituary

Walter M. Marberger, age 92 , died October 6, 2015 at Glen Mills Senior Living in Glen Mills. Walter was born and raised and a longtime resident of Norristown and a graduate of Norristown High School. He had lived in Delaware County for the last 15 years, most recently in Glen Mills. Walter was a Staff Sergeant during World War II in the US Army Air Corp where he earned 3 Bronze Stars and a Silver Star.

Walter owned and operated W. M. Marberger Carpentry for more than 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and most of all was a loving husband and father. Walter was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Wilmington and a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Norristown.

He was the son of the late Carl D. and Edith (Custer) Marberger and brother of the late Beryl Beadle, Leah Carr, and Richard Marberger.

SURVIVORS: Daughter: Barbara Marberger (Drew Brechemin); and his Loving Niece: Cheryl Beadle Marple (James).

VISITATION: Wednesday from 10:30-11:45am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Riverside Cemetery, Norristown.
