Dr. Warren "Marty" Bowden, age 69, died on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware. Born in Fogia, Italy and raised in Eddystone, Marty graduated from Eddystone High School and Central Missouri State University. He later completed his Masters Degree at Villanova University and Doctorate degree at Temple University. After teaching at Amosland Elementary School, Marty served as the principal of Woodlyn Elementary School for 14 years before his retirement in 1999.

Marty was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Bowden husband of the late Sue Bowden, to whom he was married for 41 years.

Survivors: his son: Brian (Jody) Bowden; three grandchildren; his wife of 4 years: Robin (nee Samuels) Bowden; his sister: Nancy Lewis; two brothers: Robert (Gloria) and Rodney Bowden (Suzanne); many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Wednesday at 10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Edgewood Memorial Cemetery, Glen Mills.
