Wayne A. Brower, age 72, a lifelong resident of Brookhaven, passed away on August 20, 2022. He was a resident of Brookhaven for 60 years, and was a graduate of Sun Valley High School. Wayne was a member of United Methodist Church and served his country proudly during the Vietnam era in the United States Air Force as a medic. For 50 years Wayne worked as the General Manager for several hotels and was also known for being a great baseball coach. He enjoyed teaching the players about teamwork, working together and respecting one another. In his spare time Wayne enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles play, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is the son of the late Donald G. and Dorothy Ella (Murphy) Brower and brother to the late Donald B. Brower. Survivors: His beloved wife Linda L. (Schilling) Brower, his children Jeffery A. Brower (Chrissy Helmes) and Chad M. Brower (Janet), and his grandchildren Jared T. Brower, Sara E. Brower, Benjamin T. Brower, and Jacob R. Brower.
