Colgan, Jr.
August 10, 1944 – March 14, 2020
Wesley B. Colgan, Jr., age 75, of Aston, PA, fell asleep in death on Saturday March 14, 2020. He was born and raised in Broomall, PA and graduated from Marple Newton High School. Wesley served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Tank Crewman Staff Sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Wesley retired from the Aston Township Police Department after twenty years of service to the community. He was then employed by Penn Delco School District as a school aid and security officer. He was especially beloved by the students of Sun Valley High School.
He was the son of the late Wesley B. and Rosena M.(nee Wiley) Colgan, and brother of the late Robert Colgan.
SURVIVORS: His loving wife: Margo Colgan; children: Wesley Colgan, III, Sean Colgan, and Amber Colgan; and sister-in-law: Bonnie Colgan.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Due to the growing health concerns of our communities, friends, and family members, a visitation and memorial service will take place at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 331 Middletown Rd, Media, PA 19063.
BURIAL: Private.
