"Billy" Bey
December 7, 1953 – January 15, 2022
William E. "Billy" Bey, age 68, died January 15, 2022. Born and raised in Media, PA, Billy graduated from Ridley High School. Billy was a longtime Delaware County Resident most recently living in Glen Mills for the past 8 years. He enjoyed horse racing, crabbing, fishing, cooking, telling stories, working on cars, caring for stray cats, Nascar, going to Cowtown, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. Billy loved people and making them laugh. His infectious smile and laughter will be missed by all but never forgotten. Billy worked for Scheidly Automotive and Gessler Construction as a mechanic for many years and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He was the son of the late Edward William Bey Sr. and Catherine Zenebia Bey and brother of the late Edward Bey, Frankie Bey, Earl Young Bey. And Randolph Young Bey.
SURVIVORS: His children: Natalie Eades (David) and Allen Bey (Mehera Bey), his brothers: Randy Bey, Richard Bey, and Eric Bey, his sisters: Cathy Whyte, Beverly Bey, Linda Massenburg, Joanne Bey, Nia McCall, Roain Hodges, and Cassandra Bey and 4 his beloved grandchildren: Melanie, Meredith, Mallory Eades and Oskar Bey as well as his 37 neices and nephews.
VISITATION: Friday January 21, 2022, from 3:00-4:15pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday January 21, 2022, at 4:30pm at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Private.
Flowers are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to SPCA of Media, PA or the Scholarship Fund for grandchildren. Contributions may be left at the Funeral Home.
