William J. Campbell "Fuzz", 68 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Born in Philadelphia and raised in the Olney section, he was a 1976 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School.

William was a retired driver for the Philadelphia Inquirer and was a member of the Teamsters Local 628.

William enjoyed trips to North Wildwood, spending a large portion of the year there. He enjoyed having a Rolling Rock with his friends at The Waterfront restaurant and The Firehouse.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Christopher Council #3182). He was also a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, Claymont, Delaware.

He is preceded in death by his parents James F. Campbell and Catherine M. (Wills) Campbell.

Survivors: His brother: Jim Campbell (Charlene), his best friend and loving companion: Beverly Finnegan, one son and three daughters: Jennifer McDonald (Donald), Melissa Tamaro (Sean Heim), and Mallory Smyth, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces: Jaclyn, Jennifer, and Joanne, and one great- nephew: Sonny and his long time best friend Michelle Nazarok Eroh and many more dear friends.

Visitation: Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE, 19703.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE, 19703.

Interment: Private and at the convenience of the family.
