On December 22, 2015, Dr. Wm. H. Fitzpatrick , former Superintendent of the Great Valley School District peacefully passed away surrounded by his family. Dr. Fitzpatrick was a pioneer educator, veteran, and dedicated family man. Dr. Fitzpatrick served in the US Marine Corps, Navy, and as a federal agent for the FBI.

He spent four years at UPENN perfecting his dissertation and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Upon graduation, Dr. Fitzpatrick chose to lead the Great Valley School District where he fell in love with the students, community, and faculty.  Dr. Fitzpatrick is survived by his loving wife Theresa, eldest daughter Linda, middle daughter Theresa, and his only son Wm. Fitzpatrick, Jr. He is also survived by his four loving Grandchildren: Anthony William D'Angelo, Ryan William Mahoney, Nicole Marie D'Angelo, and Morgan Bryn Fitzpatrick. He believed in Almighty God and May he keep you in his hand and heart. We are grateful for all prayers and thank you in advance for honoring our wonderful Husband, Father, grandfather, Educator, and friend to many.
