William "Bill"
Gray Coulson Mckee, Sr.
January 13, 1942 – October 7, 2025
William Gray Coulson McKee, Sr. "Bill", age 83, passed away on October 7, 2025. Born in Rutledge, PA. Bill was a proud graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy. He served honorably as an electrician in the U.S. Navy for over four years, aboard the USS Tinosa (SSN 606). While in the military, he met the love of his life, Lonna (nee McCoy), in Wisconsin. After his service, they settled in Aston, PA, where they raised their family and have made their home for the past 58 years. Following his Military career, Bill worked as a Project Manager for Sun Oil and later Sun Pipeline, where he dedicated over 32 years of service. He also ran his own electrical company on the side. Known as a "Jack of all trades," Bill could fix anything. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston and was known for his quick wit and great dance moves. Bill loved spending time on his houseboat and riding his WaveRunner in Indian River Inlet, DE. He enjoyed shooting pool, being outdoors, and teaching each of his children and grandchildren how to drive. Nothing brought him more joy than attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Above all, Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who led with love and by example. He was the son of the late William M. and Helen (nee Forrest) McKee, father of the late Todd Jeffrey McKee, and was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Survivors: His loving wife of 62 years, Lonna R. (nee McCoy); his children: William Gray Coulson McKee II (Ocean McKee), Melissa McKee (Steve Burns), Kimberly McKee (Mark Hess), Kristene McKee (Jeffrey Peters), and Mary Myers; his sister Jill Johnson; and his cherished grandchildren Peyton (Aubrey Montgomery) and Zach Montgomery, twins Tyler and William Gray Coulson McKee III "Gray", Madison, Gannon, and Logan McKee, Luke Mathews, Avery Peters, Connor and Sebastian Hess, Braden (Yasmine Thomas) and Tyson Myers, and Victor Cuevas Hernandez; as well as his great-grandchildren Anson, Remy, and Casey Montgomery, Gianni and Samira Myers, and Reece Montgomery.
