William "Bill" Quinn , age 92, died March 13, 2018 with his family by his side. William was a resident of Marcus Hook for many years and was born and raised in Philadelphia.
Bill served in the Army during WWII.
Bill made friends wherever he went and was known for his great personality. He was employed by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He was an artist, singer, known for his rendition of "Danny Boy", and fisherman. Bill enjoyed reading and going to thrift shops. He was a member of the American Legion, the Senior Citizens of Marcus Hook, and the President of the Sunshine Club and the Adirondacks. He was also a big Notre Dame Fan.
He was the husband to the late Grace Quinn (nee Kenny), father of the late Michael Quinn and brother of the late Anna Hughes, Edward Quinn, and Thomas Quinn.
SURVIVORS: His children: Kathy Ekas (Earl), Dr. William Quinn (Kristi), Winnie Quinn, Dee Kristman (Gary), Brian Quinn, and Grace Quinn; his grandchildren: Jerry Coppock, Amy Quinn (Wes), Kristy Jarrett (Craig), Ryan Quinn (Clara), Brigit Quinn, Erica Quinn, Katie Trautwein (Chris) Brittany Kristman, and Billy Coppock (Lusine). Bill also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
VISITATION: Friday, March 16th, from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Funeral service will be held Friday at 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston
