Obituary

William Michael Rines, age, 69, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family and loved ones.  He was raised in Glen Riddle, PA and graduated from Penncrest High School, class of 1969.  He has been a resident of Parkside for the last 27 years.  He retired from the Container Research Corporation in 2009 after 39.5 years of service.  He enjoyed puzzles and crossword puzzles watching Philadelphia Sports teams and playing soccer with his grandson Kyle. Traveling to Mexico for vacations.  William was a wonderful son, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend.  He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

William was predeceased by his father Stanley Rines and his brother Terence Rines.

Survivors: his loving wife of 40 years Fran LaSpada Rines; his mother Marian Dargay Rines; his son Robert Erle Jr. (Barb); his siblings Suzanne Tatum (Dan), Barbara Howell (Bill), Scott Rines, Judith Rines, Stanley Rines Jr. (Lora), and Rebecca Combs (Timmy); sister-in-law Jean Rines; his cherished grandchildren Kyle and Kayla Erle. He is also survived by his nieces who cared for him Barbara and Danielle Fedena; great nephew Jose Rivera III, and many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10:00-11:15 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.

Funeral service: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Burial: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in William's name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
