William L. Rouke, Jr., age 98, passed away January 3, 2022, at his home at Maris Grove, Glen Mills. Born and raised in Chester, Bill graduated from Chester High School. He apprenticed at the Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. and was the Co-Owner of Arrow Sheet Metal Company until his retirement. Bill designed and built his home in Bethel Township where he lived for 50 years. He loved spending his summers with his family and friends at his home in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Bill also enjoyed, reading, boating, and spending time with his loving family. He attended Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, Aston and served his country in the United States Army during World War II where he was a combat medic in the Medical Detachment 253rd Infantry Regiment 63rd Infantry Division, and reinforcement for The Battle of the Bulge. Bill's family and friends would call him "A Good Man". He will be missed by all but never forgotten. Bill was the son of the late William L. Rouke, Sr. and Frances Morris Rouke. He was the husband of the late Lillian A. Rowe Rouke and brother of the late Richard K. Rouke.

Survivors: his daughters Judith R. Rowe (Charles) and Christine F. Wright (Robert), his brother James D. Rouke, grandchildren, Bill Rowe, Matt Rowe, Amanda Powell, and Allison Fischer, great grandchildren Morgan and Kayla Powell and Benjamin and Jacob Fischer.
