William O. Shaw, a longtime resident of Wallingford, PA, age 92, passed away peacefully with his wife of 45 years and his loving family by his side in Boca Raton, FL, on Feb 20, 2022. William was born in Cape Charles, Virginia, and was raised in Chester, PA. He was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College (now Widener University) where he completed his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, he then earned his Master's degree in Business Administration at Temple University. William served his nation proudly, as a member of the United States Navy for 4 years. Prior to his retirement, William worked in Management for AT&T for over 35 years. William was a pillar of the community and served as a member of the school board for Wallingford-Swarthmore School District for 4 years. He also served as the Vice President of the local Senior Citizens Club for over 3 years and was a founding member of the breakfast club of McDonalds in Brookhaven, PA. William was an avid reader and loved to learn about history. He appreciated nature and always enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most of all, William loved his family, and coached and attended his children's and grandchildren's sporting events for many years.  He was a member of St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church in Wallingford, PA, and most recently attended Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church in Coral Springs, Florida.

He was the son of the late Nolan and Gertrude Jester, husband of the late Shirley Shaw, and brother of the late Robert Shaw.

Survivors: His Beloved Wife of 45 years: Marie Shaw. Children: Jacqueline Stachelek (Gary), Brian Shaw (Rebecca), and Jennifer Shaw Marconi. Sister: Linda Buckley. Grandchildren: Lauren Harkins (Aloysius), Marykate and Molly McFall, Madeline, Megan, and Sydney Shaw, and Vincent and Delfino Marconi. 3 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 9:30am-10:45am at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. John Chrysostom Church. Burial: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
