William B. Starkey died peacefully at home on July 18, 2015 with his wife by his side.

Bill worked at Acme Markets, had a Pepperidge Farm Cookie Franchise and was the owner for over 25 years of two Starkey's Ice Cream locations in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Bill was extremely patriotic and loved American History. He was very proud of the years he served in the United States Army.

Bill enjoyed going to his home at the beach, watching movies and day trips with his sister-in-law Josie and her husband Pat. Bill's greatest joy, however, was his family. He would describe a perfect day a warm summer Sunday with all of his children at his house sitting on the deck, the smell of hamburgers and hot dogs cooking on the grill and most important, the sound of his grandchildren playing in the pool.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Starkey and brothers Joe, Buster, and Edmund Starkey.

SURVIVORS: Loving bride of 54 years: Maureen (O'Donnell) Starkey; children: Joanie (Joe) Sweeney, Susan (Ed) Chapin, Bill Starkey, Jr., Bob (Dawn) Starkey, Steve (Katelyn) Starkey, Jack (Katie) Starkey, Jim (Colleen) Starkey, Joe (Sandy) Starkey; and his grandchildren: Bobby, Erin, Abby, Eddie, Sean, and Shane.

VISITATION: Wednesday from 7-9pm and Thursday from 9:45-10:45am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA.

Funeral Service: Thursday at 11am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA
