William "Bill" Edward Stewart, Jr., age 72 , of Aston died peacefully Friday July 17, 2015 at Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park, PA. He was born and raised in Philadelphia for more than 20 years before traveling the world living in many amazing and exotic places. William was a 1961 graduate of North Catholic HS, was active with the High School Alumni Association, was a Cub Master in Aston and was a committee chairman for the PA Boy Scouts of America, he enjoyed fixing computers and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also an avid marksman at Target Master's and a member of the Delaware Valley Field & Stream Association, was a member of the VFW 926 in Aston, enjoyed attending AFCS Reunions and was an animal lover.

William was a US Air Force Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. He worked as a field service engineer for Siemens Medical Solutions for more than 25 years.

William was the son of the late William Edward, Sr. and the late Rose (Lysak) Stewart.

SURVIVORS: His wife of 49 years: Doreen (Rolfe) Stewart; Son: Gary Edward Stewart (Melanie); Siblings: Rose Marie Silvaggio (Joseph) and Kathleen Stewart; also loving nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Monday from 9:15-10:15am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA.

Funeral Mass: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church, Boothwyn.

BURIAL: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
