Ann Marie (Cody) McKenna age 80 of Wilmington, DE passed away on August 7,2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Ann Marie was born and raised in Philadelphia where she graduated from Little Flower High School. Her family ,friends and the time that she spent with her grandchildren were the most important things in Ann Marie's life! She also enjoyed doing puzzles in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Margaret Cody, her husband Alfred Kowalski, her son-in-law Angelo Amoroso, and her sister Bernadette Purcell.
Ann Marie is survived by her Children: Patricia Amoroso, James McKenna, and Timothy McKenna (Tia),a step-daughter: Beth Saunders, a sister: Phyllis Connelley, her grandchildren: Matthew Keen, Michael and Kathleen Amoroso, Ryan and Caitlin McKenna, Sarah Ann Hanna, and Richard Cominski, Jr., great grandchildren: Conor and Ryan Keen and Harper and Ryleigh Hanna. Also surviving is a beloved niece, Kelly Ann McHugh, and her cherished friends Stella and Larry Waterfield, and Sarah and Richard Cominski.
Her Funeral Service and burial will be private.
