Barbara K. (Hora) Briddell

Barbara K. (Hora) Briddell, age 79, a loving and cherished wife, mom, "Mimi", sister, and friend passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023 with her family by her side. Born and educated in Baltimore County, Barbara graduated from Parkville High School in Parkville, MD.

Barbara was a longtime resident of Concord Twp., living in Glen Mills and then Garnet Valley, PA. She was an active member of Elam United Methodist Church, Glen Mills. She was also a member of Longwood Gardens and Winterthur in Wilmington, DE. Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed walking, cooking for her family, and traveling.

She was affectionately known as "Mimi" to her grandchildren who were her end all be all! Barbara's family was her greatest love and she treasured the memories they made together. Barbara had many true friends who she considered family and who will miss her dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Ruth (Bratton) Hora.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Emerson Talbot (Tal) Briddell, her children, Kristen Stevenson (Joel), and E. Todd Briddell (Amy), her sisters, Judy and Janice Hora, and her 6 grandchildren, Jillian Ruth, Justin Stevenson, Madeline, Aidan, Nathan, and Asher Briddell, all of whom will always remember their "Mimi". Barbara is also survived by her many loving friends.

Barbara's visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10:00-10:50am at Elam UMC 1073 Smithbridge Rd. Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00am.
