Biagio DeSantis

Biagio "Benny" DeSantis, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023. Born in Abruzzo, Italy, Benny immigrated to the United States in 1955. He has lived in Brookhaven for 62 years. Benny owned and operated his own masonry business for over 40 years before retiring. Benny was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 65 years. He loved gardening, cooking (especially making pizza), and sharing Bible truths with others in his volunteer ministry. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his 8 grandchildren. His love for Jehovah God motivated him to work hard to apply Bible principles in his life, and he had a strong faith and full confidence in God's promise of a better future. Benny was the son of the late Giovanni and Domenica DeSantis, and the former husband of the late Rosa DeDominicis DeSantis.

SURVIVORS: His wife Katherine M. DeSantis (Nee Mein), his children John DeSantis (Maria), Domenic DeSantis (Marta), Josephine Moyer (Scott), and Matthew Wilcox, his grandchildren Dario DeSantis (Alison), Jonathan DeSantis (Rebecca), Dahlia Moyer, Brendon Wilcox, Scott Moyer, and Andrea DeSantis.

The family will receive friends and neighbors on Wednesday evening March 8, 2023 from 6pm-9pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.

BURIAL will be private at the convenience of the family.

A future funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 331 N. Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063. Memorial Donations in Benny's name may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at the above address or at www.jw.org.
