It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Perri, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 85. Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend who lived life to the fullest. Carol was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. and was a 1955 graduate of West Catholic Girls School. Carol lived in Philadelphia for 65 years, then Clifton Heights, PA for 18 years before moving to live with her daughter, Karen, in Aston. In addition to raising her children, Carol worked for many years as an operations manager for Wells Fargo Bank in Philadelphia.
Carol had a passion for travel and visited many places throughout her lifetime. She traveled to Europe visiting England, Italy and Ireland. Her adventures took her to many beautiful beaches including Florida where she liked to visit grandchildren and Sea Isle City, where she could relax with her family on their annual vacation.
Despite her love for traveling, nothing was more important to Carol than spending time with her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was a family dinner, a movie night, or a game of cards. Her love for her family was unconditional, and she always made sure to show them how much they meant to her. Carol will be loved and missed by her family and they will remember her by how loving, caring and generous she was.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Finnegan; her loving husband, Vincent in 2002; her sister, Mary Leopold; and her son-in-law, Michael Durante.
She is survived by her children, Kim Durante, William Perri, Karen DelGiorno (William), Kristine Perry (Albert), and Vincent Perri (Darlene); her siblings, Jeanne Marchese (Bob), Thomas Finnegan (Kate), Stephen Finnegan, and Bonnie Finnegan; and her brother-in-law, Larry Leopold; grandchildren, Albert Perry, Sabrina Murray, Vincent Perri, William DelGiorno, Gabrielle Perry, Danielle DelGiorno, Nicolette Perry, Louis Perri, Dominique DelGiorno, and Isabella Perri. As well as many loving great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Friday, May 19 from 8:30 to 9:45am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston, PA 19014. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA.
