Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Iacono, 83, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She joins her late husband Vincent Michael Iacono.
Betty was born on January 31, 1940 in Danbury, CT to the late William Paul Wiley and late Helen Brown.
Betty attended Goldey-Beacom College and pursued a career in teaching. She enjoyed spending many great years on the bank of the Chesapeake Bay in Rock Hall, MD boating, crabbing and swimming. She also enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family - especially her great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a loving mother, mommom, and friend.
She is predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Vincent Michael Iacono and her loving daughter, Debbie Lacey. She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan (Gary) Kelly, of Wilmington, DE; grandson, Christopher Lacey (John Mooney), of Mount Pleasant, SC; granddaughter, Valerie (Julian) Servano, of Wilmington, DE; grandson, Anthony Kelly, of Wilmington, DE; and great-granddaughters Adelyn Lacey, Natalie Servano and Naomi Servano.
