Obituary
Frederick L. Ruger, age 85, a longtime resident of Chester, PA, passed away on April 6, 2023, in Springfield, PA. Frederick was raised in Woodlyn, PA, and was a graduate of Ridley High School. Following his graduation, Frederick joined the USMC and served his nation proudly from 1954 to 1957. He went on to work for the PQ Chemical Corporation in Chester, PA, as a furnace operator. In his free time, Frederick liked to listen to the Oldies, watch the Three Stooges, do crossword puzzles, and read the newspaper. Above all else, Frederick loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were his greatest source of joy.
He is the son of the late Allan and Mary Ruger, husband of 60 years of the late Beatrice Ruger.
Survivors: Children: Frederick T. Ruger (Trish), Connie Lynn Ruger, and Karen Marie Anderson (Gary). Siblings: John Ruger (Pat) and Rich Ruger (Connie). Grandchildren: Michael, Amanda, Mary, Lisa, Mark, Rachael, Raymond, Joanna, Brianna, Kelly, and Laci. Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Giavanna, Nathan, Everleigh, Olivia, Amber, Sabrina, Savannah, Adriana, Steven, Axton, Leah.
