Frieda Johnson

Frieda Johnson, age 68, passed away on October 28, 2023, at her home in Colwyn, PA. Frieda was raised in Frederica, DE, and was a graduate of Lake Forest High School. She worked for many years at Independence Blue Cross as a legal assistant, prior to her retirement. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Church of Christ. Frieda was a woman of great strength and an amazing mother and grandmother.

She was the daughter of the late Naomi Scarborough-Moore and Kermit McAllister, and wife of the late Abdul Johnson.

Survivors: Children: Narjis Daisey and Naima Hall. Grandchildren: Naomi Urey and Asher Hall. Siblings: Kermit Moore and Kevin Moore.

Visitation: Monday, November 6, 2023, at 10:00am-11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Eulogies: Monday, November 6, 2023, 11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Please make donations in Frieda's memory to your local Church of Christ. Should you choose to send flowers, the family would like to honor Frieda's wishes and asks that the flowers be white.
