Genevieve (Wieczorek) Parylak

Genevieve (Wieczorek) Parylak, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Chester, PA. Genevieve was born and raised in France. While in France she met her late husband, John Parylak, while he was on tour with the United States Army. Genevieve then moved to the United States and was a longtime resident of Chester, PA. She worked at St. James Boys High School as well as the Marianist Brothers Center in Chester. Genevieve was a longtime member of St. Katharine Drexel Church.

She is the daughter of late Michel and Maryanna (Balcerck) Wieczorek. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Parylak (2003), her sister Victoria, her children: Michael Parylak (2021) and Marie Swavely (2019), and her loving grandson Tim Parylak.

Survivors: Her daugher: Anna Marie Replogle (Russell), Daugher-in-law: Donna Parylak, Son-in-law: Robert Swavely, her seven grandchildren: Bobby Swavely, David Swavely, Michele Walsh (Brian), Brian Parylak (Jessica), Victoria Hittle (Henry), Russell Replogle (Lisa), Danielle Booz (Benjamin) as well as 11 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 1920 Providence Ave, Chester, PA 19013. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 10:30 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church. Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pennsylvania. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
