George McCann

George M. "Georgie" McCann, age 77, a resident of Drexel Hill passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023. George was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School class of 1963, and was formerly employed by Delaware County GWH Prison for 28 years before his retirement.

George enjoyed woodworking and photography, he especially loved the time he spent with his grandchildren. He collected clocks and loved corvettes. He loved card games and was always ready to make people laugh telling "dad" jokes. George made friends wherever he went, and always provided a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

George was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Sophia R. McCann; his wife, Linda L. McCann; brother, Jack McCann; and sister, Joyce O'Connell.

Survivors: His children, Debbie Reilly (Frank), John McCann (Dan) and Joe McCann (Cindy); sisters, Jean Pisale, Joan Murray; brother, William McCann; grandchildren, Hunter, Michael, Mike, Evelyn, Margaret and James.

Visitation: Thursday, October 12, 2023, 10-11:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014
Memorial Service: Thursday, October 12, 2023 11:30am at the funeral home.
Burial: Private
