James C. Yannuzzi, age 55, passed away on October 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was raised in Garnet Valley, and was a graduate of Garnet Valley High School. He was a certified forklift operator, and most recently worked for Lowes and Intercon. Jim is remembered fondly for his love of building models of cars and ships. His passion, however, was building model rockets. He was a member of the MDRA (Maryland/Delaware Rocket Association) and created his own Youtube Channel "Jim's model room". Jim was known to have a green thumb and was an avid gardener. He enjoyed fishing with his friends at Bowers Beach and watching the Phillies. Jim was preceded in death by his stepfather, Daniel Gane; grandparents, Henry and Josephine Bocchino; Charles Yannuzzi; and his beloved pets, Jo Jo Belly, Lucy Liu, Edie Falco and Dobie. Survivors: His significant other, Cindy Xanthopoulos; children, James Daniel Yannuzzi and Emily Catherine Yannuzzi; mother, Catherine Gane; cat, Muffin; dogs, Yuzu and Theo the Lion; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
