Janet L. Dahlquist (Nee Whitelock), age 71, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 17, 2023. Born, raised, and educated in Chester, Janet was a graduate of St. Michael's Parochial School and Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Class of 1971. She has been a resident of Norwood for the past 30 years. Janet worked as teacher's aide for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit for 18 years when she retired in 2015. She loved vacations to the Poconos, Cape May, and Wildwood spending time with her husband where they both loved to fish and people watch. She was an avid bingo player and played penny slots at the casinos. She also loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
Janet was predeceased by her parents the late Thomas and Anne Fusco Whitelock Sr., her husband Charles Dahlquist, her sister Judith Creppon (2012), her brother Thomas Whitelock Jr. (2008), and her sister cousin Marn Iacono (2021).
SURVIVORS: Her twin sister and best friend Janice Nichols (David), Aunt Lorraine Sarah, brother-in-law Jesse Creppon, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
VISITATION: Saturday April 22, 2023, from 10-11:15 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston.
FUNERAL LITURGY: Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:30am at the funeral home
BURIAL will be Private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Janet's name may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
