Joe Baronsky, aged 82, a resident of Wilmington, DE, passed away on March 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Christiana Care in Newark, DE.
He was born and raised in Lester, PA and graduated from Eddystone High School. Joe had a successful career and retired from Ken-Cor, as a member of the International Union of Elevators.
Joe (and Kathy) raised their family in Sun Hill (Chester, PA). Joe enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, fixing old cars, vacationing in the Poconos, and dancing. He was known for being a couch potato, loved cheesecake and Sticky Buns from The Bazaar. He never missed a family gathering and cherished time spent with loved ones. In his younger years, Joe enjoyed spending time at the East Coast Cycle Shop in Glenolden PA, he also loved spending time in the Pocono Mountains with his family and their friends.
Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Long) Baronsky.
Survivors: His loving wife: Kathy (O'Brien) Baronsky, his children: Janet Baronsky, Will Lebus, Keith Lebus, Tracy Strohmetz, Diane Rementer, and Patrick Baronsky, his siblings: Lillian Baxter, Steve Baronsky, and Paul Baronsky, his grandchildren: Jimmy, Ryan, Rhett, Cheyenne, Jake, Sara, Lance and Hannah, his great-grandchildren: Libby and Micah, and his granddogs: Simba, Res, Jack, Ziggy, Putz, Enzo, and his favorite dog was Charlie (aka Chal'ee).
Visitation: Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA 19014. Memorial Service: Sunday, March 12, 2023 12:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's name to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org.
