Kimberly J. Warrington, 58, of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, in her home, surrounded by her loving family after a two-year fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
Raised in Folsom, Pennsylvania, graduate of Ridley High School Kimberly was the daughter of late Francine and late Robert McBurney.
Kimberly was a compassionate caregiver, always putting everyone before herself. She provided care to her late husband Michael L. Warrington (2002) at a young age and spent years of her life as a Dialysis Technician at DaVita Dialysis. Later, she became employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Pentec Health providing therapy for malnourished dialysis patients. Kimberly was able to leave the industries once her grandchildren were born to provide unconditional love and care for which they will forever cherish.
Kimberly was a breath of fresh air, when she walked into a room everyone lit up with joy from her smile, contagious laugh, positive energy, and humor whether they knew her or not. She was a loyal friend and devoted family member. She loved to travel the world with her fiancé Ronald, some of her favorites were Ireland, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, and most recently Cancun. She enjoyed weekend boat trips down the Chesapeake Bay and shot gunning at Delaware County field and stream. Also known as, "High Flame Hanna", she enjoyed cooking, gardening, planning, and catering to everyone. Karaoke, the casino, and bingo nights with her daughter Jennifer were a must. While she had also rode a bike over the Golden Gate Bridge, she was known for being a Giant Jenga Game Master. Two of her favorite things to do was taking her grandchildren camping, and shopping for others.
Kimberly will forever be missed by her loved ones. She is survived by her two daughters Jennifer (Ronald) Thompson Jr., Heather (Anthony) Manata, her loving sister Justine Matthews, her grandchildren Dylan Steward, Brooklynn Thompson, Morgan Thompson, Bryce Thompson, AJ Manata and Ryan Manata, her fiancé Ronald Urban who has devoted his unconditional love to her, and many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Robert and Francine McBurney, her loving husband Michael L. Warrington, and her brother Robert M. McBurney.
