Lydia E. (Jenkins) Roth

Lydia E. Roth, age 97, passed away on June 22, 2022 at Little Flower Manor Nursing Home. Lydia was born and raised in Marcus Hook and longtime Upper Chichester resident. She was a graduate of Eddystone High School. Lydia was employed at Don's Food Market in Boothwyn for 40 years before her retirement. Lydia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and dedicated her life to raising and loving her family.

Lydia was the daughter of the late Artimus and Lydia Mae (Fawcett) Jenkins; The wife of the late Lawrence Kevin Roth (1998) and mother of the late Kevin O'Brien Roth and mother in law of the late Michael F X Gillin. She is also predeceased by her siblings: Catherine Engel, Mary Hamilton, Lucina Downes, Nellie Harris, Ann Hoover, Helena Keating, John Jenkins, and George Jenkins.

Survivors: Her beloved children Debra Gillin, Mary Beth Weyman (Rodger), and Kimberly Ackerman (Robert); Grandchildren: Kristi Keller (Dennis), Beth Sheridan (Michael), Robert Ackerman (Claire), Jason Ackerman, Katherine Carmella (Jay), and Michael Gillin; Great grandchildren: Jacob Keller, Addison Keller, Brenden Keller, Samuel Carmella, Benjamin Carmella, Vivian Ackerman, and Paige Sheridan.

Visitation: Monday, June 27, 2022, 10-11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston.
Funeral Service: will be Monday at 11:00am at the funeral home.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
