Queen Keene Obituary

Queen Juanita Keene, age 89, passed away on December 15, 2023. She was born and raised in Berwick, PA and was a graduate of Mifflinville High School. After meeting her husband Roy, they moved down to Chester, PA in their twenties. After living in Chester they moved to Linwood before finally settling down in Aston, PA around 1990. Queen worked a majority of her life at Eddystone Machine Company, and played an integral part in the day to day operations there. She was able to retire from Eddystone Machine Company but continued to work well into retirement. During retirement is when she began to pursue her passion for sales, she was an outstanding sales representative and won many awards. In her spare time she enjoyed playing pinochle and poker at the senior center, going on bus trips to the casino, as well as reading and dancing. Queen was a member of Mount Hope Church in Aston and was a member of their choir.

She is the daughter of the late William and Irene Michael, wife of 50 years to the late Roy E. Keene (2004) and sister to the late Ova Bartlett, Vertie Bankes, Winifred Mowery, and Grace Kulp.

Survivors: Her loving children Roy K. Keene and Deborah F. Turnbull (Gerald), her four grandchildren: Matthew Turnbull (Michelle), Faith Croll (Kyle), Davina Keene, and Ariela Rebman (John) as well as five great grandchildren: James Ward, Madison Ward, Julianne Turnbull, Aidan Turnbull, Dustin Rebman.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00a - 11:00a at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014. Memorial Service: Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00a at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Philadelphia Memorial Park, Malvern, PA 19355.
