Rosalyn Jane Santucci (nee Nichols), age 79, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022, at her home in Upland, PA, with her loving husband Peter by her side. Rosalyn was born in New Jersey and was raised in Chester, PA, she was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Media, PA. She was retired from Scott Paper Co.
Rosalyn was a spiritual warrior for her family and friends. Her enjoyment was helping her family by providing comfort, support, and security. She was PTL president of Upland School District. For Our Lady of Charity, in an effort to continue providing comfort and support to all, Rosalyn helped organize and run the lunch program for the children and scheduled the parents to give teachers relief for their lunch breaks. When called upon, she would substitute for absent teachers.
Christmas was Rosalyn's favorite holiday to decorate for, she also enjoyed seasonal readings like the "Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. She also enjoyed reading "The Bells" by Edgar Allen Poe, and listening to music like "Love Me Tender" by Elvis.
She met Peter in 1957. “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" by The Platters was the song that they danced to on their prom night in 1958 and that song became their love song.
Her love of reading to her children inspired them to be good readers; she loved her sons dearly and was very proud of their independence and accomplishments.
Rosalyn enjoyed collecting chinaware, especially Department 56 and Spode. With a gift for interior design, she could repair and refinish furniture back to life and for years her workmanship continued with one accomplishment after another.
As a dedicated parishioner, Rosalyn gave her soul to St. Michaels and to Our Lady of Charity. She practiced faithfully her entire life, and she believed in God's prayer for his gift of hope and love eternally.
Rosalyn was the daughter of the late Robert and Helena Nichols, and sister of the late Mary Louise Woolaver and Bethanne Maria Nichols.

A Tribute to my loving Rosalyn
You were my soul purpose for living, my one true blue love, my perfect yellow diamond, how can I say goodbye?
How can I forget your bright eyes, your wide smile, your warm hug, and your kiss?
How can I ever hope for love and joy without you?
How can I ever stop loving and remembering you?
How can I wish away the pain stretched across your frightened frown?
How can I wipe away your tears of sorrow that you endured so bravely?
How can I cure the untreatable "Parkinson disease" for you?
How can I replace all the pain and love that I feel for you?
I can't!
I cannot be with you, only in my mind, so until we meet again, smoke will be in my eyes.
May your eyes flicker with bright sparkling color towards the stars at night, and when the sun's rays lights upon your beautiful face with warmth and love, and from ashes, you'll be seen by all in brilliant glory as a yellowing scintillating diamond full of color and life for eternity.
The five most important words we shared, time after time... "I love you, very much"
Forever, my love, Pete
