Steven D. Seymour

Steven Dennis Gitaitis Seymour, age 73, passed away on July 27, 2022 at his home. Raised in Tinicum Twp., Steve was a 1966 graduate of Ridley Park High School and a 1969 graduate of Temple University. Steven has lived in Glen Mills for the past 45 years. Steven worked for Westinghouse and Copy Serv Inc., but his passion was building homes. Steven owned and operated Steven D. Seymour Builders Inc. He built 28 custom homes over his career throughout Delaware and Chester Counties. Humble and selfless Steve was a steward of those around him, people, plants , animals and his family. He loved corvettes, blues music, boats, creating and fixing things, playing with his grandkids and making people laugh. He especially loved spending time with his family and his pup, "Harvey." He also attended St. Thomas the Apostle Church with his wife Gerry.

Steven was predeceased by his father Bruno Gitaitis and his parents William P. and Julia Mae Goslin Seymour.

SURVIVORS: His wife Geraldine D. Desenberg Seymour, his children Stephanie D. Seymour (Matthew Busillo) and Steven R. Seymour, his grandchildren Lillian Cora Busillo and Cruz Maksym Seymour, and his brother Dave Seymour.

VISITATION: Wednesday August 3, 2022 from 10-11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday August 3, 2022 at 11:00am at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Private
